DECA - An Association of Marketing Students
DECA is a co-curricular marketing program which offers students an opportunity for professional growth, community service, and competition (through examination, role play, portfolio planning, and public speaking). Mock Trial -
Mock Trial is a nationally-affiliated student organization, sponsored by the Colorado Bar Association. Teams of 12 students participate in a mock trial and compete against other northern Colorado schools. Students are given the opportunity to expand their speaking, writing, reading, and analytical skills while learning about the judicial system. Students play the role of attorneys and witnesses in a fictitious case. Staff Sponsor: Michelle Bassett ([email protected]).
NTHS - National Technical Honor Society
Membership is granted to students who complete 15-credits in business classes by their junior or senior year. They must maintain a 3.5 GPA in business classes and a 3.1 GPA overall. Students must also complete 10 hours of community service and remain in good standing in terms of citizenship, character, and attendance. All NTHS members will be recognized at their graduation ceremony with an honor cord and special notation in the graduation program. Staff Sponsor: Paula Didero ([email protected])
